Seniors Expo 2019 – Another Huge Success

Today’s Seniors Expo 2019 was a huge success again this year.  The event was held at the Petone Working Men’s Club and was opened by Lower Hutt’s Major, Ray Wallace.  Bus loads of visitors attended to learn about the many organisations and businesses providing our elder folk and their families with a range of helpful products and services.  There were a large variety of options on offer.  Many of which were specific to assisting people in retaining as much independence and mobility as possible.  Some of the organisations represented were; social services, charities, medical, companion driving services, retirement villages, deaf, heart and personal alarm organisations.  Speciality consultancy and service businesses such our own Sort Out Service, attracted plenty of interest.  Seniors Expo visitors were treated to an entertainment line-up of singers, bands, a choir and line dancing throughout the day, while enjoying coffee and lunches from the on-site café.

Thanks again to all our lovely visitors for coming along.  It was wonderful to meet you and we look forward to talking to you again soon.
